Lovin the look...

Fresh off celebrating her 20th birthday, Selena Gomez steps out in an edgy look that we don't see on the Disney star too often.

I like it!  I especially like the boots.  Much was made of the fact that the grungy look had large arm openings which showed a glimpse of a pretty blue bra.  Really?  I go for that bit of a subtle look rather than some of the looks we see some of the young (and too old) stars rockin these days.

My only complaint (and it's a little one)...what's with L.A. and scarfs?  I love the scarf..but it's maybe a little over the top with this outfit.

Canadian Pride

Who could forget Simon Whitfield leading the pack and winning gold in 2000?  If you're Canadian you likely watched transfixed as he crossed the finish line.
So appropriate that he lead the athletes into the stadium for the 2012 Olympics in London!
Always a class act I can't wait to watch them compete as the games unfold.

Just stopped in at the local LCBO and decided to treat myself to something different.
Summertime is the perfect opportunity to try different wine, blends etc. and beat the heat.
